A DAY WITH SANTA AND SANTA PARADE
Downtown Kennesaw. Free.
11am-3pm. Parade starts at noon. Santa’s
arrival takes place with a parade down Main
Street featuring a special Grand Marshal,
designer holiday floats, music, horses, and of
course, Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and live

2nd ANNUAL PJ PARTY WITH SANTA
Cumberland Mall. Atlanta.
7-9pm. Children and parents can come to the
event dressed in their pajamas and be
entertained by Santa with story-time, milk and
cookies, activities and much more. Each child
will receive a special gift. Families can also
pose for pictures with Santa, in their pajamas.

| It’s Snowing in Georgia! Daily
through December 24: “It’s Snowin’ in the
Station”
This holiday season, Atlantic Station
presents "It's Snowin' in the Station." Gather
around Atlantic Station's Grand 50-foot-tall
Christmas tree in Central Park each evening at 7
pm (7 pm and 9 pm on Friday and Saturday the
final show at 6 PM Christmas Eve) and experience
the magic of a realistic snowfall, as Atlantic
Station is transformed into a winter wonderland.
Experience the fun of snow in a warm climate.
For a special treat, visit on weekends when you
can also ride the Steel Mill Express kids train
and enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride, all
happening near Central Park.

hours of the clothing closet have changed... Mondays 10:00am to 2:00pm

The St Philip/Mt. Bethel UMC clothing closet is located at 2400 Favor Road, Marietta, 30060 next to
Osborne Highschool.
Computer Raffel:
We will be
announcing the winner at the December Christmas party ! There is still time to
sell tickets! Please turn in the $ for any sold tickets and return unsold
tickets to Laurie Strother on Decemver 14th.

A must if you are taking
infants exposed to alcohol, drugs and the newest of the newest - Meth. And you
thought your baby just slept a lot because he was a good baby… You can do lots
to help at birth to curb more serious problems if only tended to later on. Come
see what to do with your baby.

Foster Family Foundation.
EMBRACE yourself with the right
knowledge from the Executive Director. Here you will hear what the State is
planning for its new foundation and what it means for you. Don't miss hearing it
from the top.
March 14th Behavioral
Language
What is your child
trying to say to you in his or her behavior, Discussion of behavioral red flags,
how to interpret them and finding solutions other than disruption. A positive
approach to behavior management.
April 11th
Fetal Alcohol Syndrome
Babies born to drinking parents
face struggles that we've never dreamed of. Find out what to look for and how to
help your child achieve and progress. What to and not to expect.
May 9th
Nutrition
Physical and Emotional aspects of good nutrition. Don't
let food be a cause for struggle in your child's life.

Foster Parent Support Foundation
Rachel Ewald from the
Foster Care Support Foundation would like to remind everyone that clothing and
other items are available. Appointments are available Tuesdays, Thursdays and

We have not had
a great deal of participation on the cookbook fundraiser so it will not
be published in time for Christmas. The publish date will be extended
and your participation would be greatly appreciated. For those of you
who have already contributed recipes, thank you very much! For the rest

Federal Adoption Tax Credit:
For families that finalized
their adoptions in 2003 (and received that subsidy) and didn't know they
could take the Federal Adoption Tax Credit, they can still amend those
tax returns, but not for long (months). This also applies to families
that finalized in 2004 and 2005. Note if you are
amending your 2003 taxes, you will likely have to amend 2004 and 2005
also.
Families will need to
file a 1040X form. The instructions for 1040X state this
