Non-Emergency Medicaid Transportation                        If you live in Cobb County and are in need of transportation to a medical appointment for a foster child (or other person) covered by Medicaid, you can call 3-14 days in advance and obtain a ride to an appointment.  You will need the Medicaid number, doctor's name, phone, as well asyour address and phone.  Call toll free (866) 388-9844. Clothing Closet: The hours of the clothing closet have changed...                     Mondays 10:00am to 2:00pm Thursdays 3:00pm to 6:00pm Saturdays 9:00am to Noon  The St Philip/Mt. Federal Adoption Tax Credit:
Check with your tax preparer   For families that finalized their adoptions in 2003 (and received that subsidy) and didn't know they could take the Federal Adoption Tax Credit, they can still amend those tax returns, but not for long (months). This also applies to families that finalized in 2004 and 2005. Note if you are
amending your 2003 taxes, you will likely have to amend 2004 and 2005 also.

Families will need to file a 1040X form. The instructions for 1040X state this click here about when to file.
