Our Mission                         Cobb County Foster & Adoptive Parent’s Association is committed to supporting foster and adoptive parents in achieving safety, permanence, and well-being for the children and youth in their care through education, advocacy, and other community, state, and national resources.



 
Association Meetings
Meetings are held monthly, September - June, taking place the fourth Thursday except for October, November, and December to accommodate holiday schedules.  Meetings are always held at the First Baptist Church of Marietta - 148 Church Street, NE, Marietta, GA 30060.  Map.  Phone: (770)424-9790.

Arrive at 6:15 for lite refreshments. (Families are welcome to bring their own dinners.) Kids must be signed in by 6:45 for the free childcare provided by the church.  Speakers start promptly at 7:00 and are finished by 8:00.
Foster parents receive training hour credits for attending these meetings!
We love to see new faces, welcome your suggestions, and value all input!

Soon, Cobb County FAPA will have 501(c)(3), Tax-exempt - Non-profit status.

This will make it even easier to donate goods and services to the Association giving us more opportunities to serve and support the Foster and adoptive families of Cobb County.  read more
